NEW CHALLENEGE AT LEFT OF CENTRE

Thought I would try something a bit different, Here I have used 2 gorgeous images by the wonderfully talented Teri over at Delicious Doodles and have placed them on a canvas all images are coloured with promarkers.

new challenge @ Left of Centre

 
 
Sorry for the late posting of my card, but after mad rush to hospital with my very poorly son, I am now back and ready to go..
I have used the limited run digis, Sid-tastic, Jane-saw and Haunted and haunted house 2, I used a the following promarkers to complete this  Fresh, meadow, cool grey 2 &3, icicle, satin, black, caramel, ruby, midnight blue, dusky pink, Henna, sunkissed pink, terracotta, lipstick red, walnut, cocoa, poppy, berry red, sandstaone, cinnamon, morning mist and sky blue.
the back ground was made by using strips of white paper to cover areas I wanted to remain white the spritz with Mr Heuy's colour mists in vanilla, dark calico and warm calico.i used 3d foam pads on the images to stand out over the haunted house design.
SO WHY NOT LET YOU INNER DARLSIDE OUT AND COME AND PLAY OVER AT

Altered Art










Here is a rather shabby lamp which I picked up from my local boot sale, and altered it to look like this, read on below to see how. 
 
I removed the material covering the frame of the lamp. Using gold twine and double sided sticky tape I covered the metal area by wrapping the twine around all.
I then started to add the buttons of all shapes, colours and sizes, love using bright colours makes me feel all summery. the buttons were attached using gold wire re, wire cutters, long nosed pliers and lots of patience, I continued this way all the way round until the whole space was filled with beautiful bright buttons.

What a charm

 
 
Another gawjus image buy the wonderfully talented Teri over at Delicious Doodles, I have used the following promarkers to complete this image
Emerald, Mustard, Poppy, Turquoise, Summer sun, Lime Green, Colbalt Blue, True Blue, Sky Blue, Canary, Cool grey 2, 3, Forest Green, Meadow Fresh, Gold, Bright Green, Soft Green, Island Lagoon, Satin, Blush, Soft Peach, Primrose, Icicle, Dusky Pink, Caramel, Warm Grey1.
 
I have topped this image with some glitters and ribbon and some die cut swirls finished with a star shaped charm.
 

Nations Colours

 
 
Well patriotism is all around us at the moment, what with the 4th of July celebrations there over in the USA and here in England as we currently over in Aus for the Loins rugby tour. so here is a cute image of a patriotic bear done in the colours of red white and blue to co- inside with the various challenges for this at present see challenges below the layout has been taken from the challenge set by Sketch Saturday Challenge blog see link below,

Punkyougirl Challenge

Pink and Blue Challenge


 
I have used this Gawjus stamp to enter into I love promarkers challenge and crafty ribbons challenge I have used the following to create this card.
promarkers as follows,
Face - Coral, dusky pink, rose pink and blush
hair - cerise and rose pink
dress - colbalt blue, sky blue, and cool aqua
tights - pink mittens and pale pink
used papermania backing papers, topped with pink star ribbon and 3 flower embellishments.

Buttons buttons and more buttons



 This is a button bowl I have made with YES you guessed it buttons. blow a balloon to size wanted cover half with PVA glue let dry repeat this 2 more times on 3rd time add buttons to wet glue and dry then cover with more glue dry for about 48 hrs then pop balloon and finished..
